Welcome to  Slow Burn: Deadly Tales from the Sonoran Desert   - where ghost stories ride shotgun, cold cases rattle like bones in the trunk, and the Arizona sun never quite burns away what's hiding in the shadows.  I'm Jess - aspiring writer, night owl, and recovering people-pleaser with a deep love for true crime, dusty trails, unsolved mysteries, and stories that stick to your ribs. I created  Slow Burn  because I've been fortunate enough to grow up int his dusty corner of the world - where nearly everywhere you look you'll see something steeped in either history or mystery - or both.
